Arrive at Zurich airport and travel to Lucerne with Swiss pass and checkin to hotel. Exploration starts from next day.
Day 1: Titlis and Lucerne
Morning: Start your day early by heading to Engelberg from Lucerne by train. Journey till Engelberg is included in Swiss Pass. Once in Engelberg, take the cable car to Mount Titlis. Engelberg to Titlis needs extra ticket (48 fr).Experience the rotating gondola ride and enjoy the stunning panoramic views from the summit. Titlis has lot of fun activities. After descending from Titlis, return to Lucern. Total trip generally take around 5 to 6 hrs.
Food : There is restaurant at Titlis top and at Engelberg. If you want to save on food then carry things like burgers, sandwiches from Grocery shops Coop, Migros.
Evening: Explore Lucerne, visiting attractions like the Chapel Bridge (Kapellbrücke) and wandering through the charming Old Town. Enjoy dinner at one of Lucerne’s restaurants and take a leisurely stroll along the lake promenade. There are also option of dinner cruise on Lucern lake. Its a unique experience.
Day 2: Brienz Cruise, Lauterbrunnen, and Interlaken
Morning: Checkout from hotel but keep luggage in hotel. They provide that facility. All the journey for this whole day is included in Swiss pass. Travel from Lucerne to Brienz by train. Upon arrival, embark on a scenic cruise on Lake Brienz. Cruise is already included in Swiss pass. Admire the picturesque landscapes and charming villages along the way. Get down at Interlaken Ost and take a train to Lauterbrunnen, nestled in a stunning valley with cascading waterfalls. Explore the village and marvel at the breathtaking scenery.
In Lauterbrunnen there are 2 famous waterfalls. Staubbach Falls (free) and Trümmelbach Falls (extra 14 fr ticket, buy when you reach there). Check our videos to see if you want to visit them. Take some time to capture photos and soak in the romantic atmosphere.
If you want you can take the scenic train ride from Lauterbrunnen to Wengen, enjoying the views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Its included in swiss pass.
Then go back to Interlaken. Upon arrival in Interlaken, explore the town and its charming streets, perhaps indulging in some shopping for Swiss souvenirs. Visit the famous Jungfrau street, Yash Chopra statue.
Once done, go back to Lucern and pickup the luggage and travel to Zurich. Checkin to Zurich hotel. Total journey from Interlaken-Lucerne-Zurich is around 3 hrs.
Day 3: Rhine Falls and Zurich
Morning: Checkout hotel but keep luggage in hotel. Ask at hotel reception if they provide Zurich all zone pass for free (Sometime they provide for free). If not then buy Zurich all zone pass online (35fr). Whole journey for this day is included in this all zone pass. Travel from Zurich HB station to Schaffhausen, where the Rhine Falls are located. The journey takes you through beautiful Swiss countryside. Upon arrival, explore the majestic Rhine Falls, Europe’s largest waterfall. Take a boat ride (extra ticket) to get up close to the falls and feel the power of the cascading water. Check video for details. Then, take a train to Zurich.
Food : Enjoy lunch at one of the restaurants near the falls or pick up sandwiches or burgers from Migros , Coop.
Evening: Explore Zurich’s Old Town (Altstadt), including landmarks like the Grossmünster church and Fraumünster church. End your day with a relaxing walk along Lake Zurich and perhaps enjoy dinner at a lakeside restaurant. You can also plan a visit to Lindt chocolate factory (entry ticket 15fr). Travel is included in your pass.
End of the day, pick your luggage and travel to airport with the All Zone pass.
